Bonnie's CGC (Canine Good Citizen) video is finally finished. As you might remember, she didn't pass the test. The video is over five minutes long, so I've divided it into two parts. This page shows test items one through six. To remind you what the test is about, here is a summary of what each item is below and which one she passed and which one she failed:

-Allow a friendly stranger to approach her. PASSED
-Sit politely for petting. PASSED
-Welcome being groomed, touched, and examined. PASSED
-Walk with the owner on a loose leash. PASSED
-Walk through a crowd of people. PASSED
-Sit, down and stay in place. PASSED
-Come when called. PASSED
-Behave politely around other dogs. PASSED
-Is calm and confident during distracting situations. PASSED
-Can be left with another person and behave with good manners. FAILED

Take a look at the video. Do you think you might try the CGC someday? Even though Bonnie failed, it's really not that difficult. Dog training takes patience, practice, and kindness and anyone can do it if they give their dog the attention they need.
