How Dogs and People are Alike

Inside our bodies, people and dogs both have:

a heart
lungs
a brain
a stomach
intestines
a liver
bones

Outside our skeletons, people and dogs both have:

legs
eyes
ears
hair
mouth
teeth
tongue
muscles
toes
toenails

Both dogs and people have these feelings:

hunger
pain
thirst
loneliness
fear
fatigue (feeling tired)
happiness
sadness
sleepiness
nervousness

Both dogs and people can do these things:

 run
walk
jump
roll around
yawn
cough
scratch
stretch
turn around
sit
lay down
blink
sneeze
lick

***Remembering these ideas will help us
to understand our dogs better.

"We are similar to our dogs in many ways."
